Taking pictures during the bachelorette party is a great idea as everyone has digital cameras today. Appoint one main person at the bachelorette party to take the pictures (we did and it worked well). Have the camera passed around and make sure the following bachelorette party picture taking etiquette is followed:

1) Do not take inappropriate pictures. You know the ones but you can see examples at the bachelorette parties site. Take pictures you could show the fiancé (or at least if it fell into the wrong hands) as you don’t want these pictures ending up on facebook or some other social media to be widely distributed, unless you are Paris Hilton.

2) Take pictures before drinking too much. It is always good to give the camera to someone who is not drinking or drinking too much. Pictures tend to go sideways with fingers or bachelorettes cut off in the pictures.

3) Ask permission of the other bachelorettes you take pictures of since you want to make sure they are okay in being in bachelorette party pictures. A person who works for a high profile conservative job or someone famous may not want to be in them.

4) Make sure you have enough memory and that the battery is charged. There are too many times that someone forgets to charge the battery or runs out of memory which can take away from getting the most amazing shots.

5) Take natural free flowing shots as well as those that are planned. Get all the girls together at the beginning of the night and make sure to take pictures of everyone at some point with the bachelorette so she can remember who was at her party.
